Firstly, on Wednesday, I took Charlie and Henry to see the Lion King at the Sunderland Empire. It was absolutely FAB! I'd seen it before, about 13 or 14 years ago, but nothing compares to seeing it through the eyes of your kids. Both boys were so excited and totally enthralled by the show. Particularly Henry who was still only 3!
Then on Thursday, it was Henry's birthday! Had a bit of a cowboy them going on with presents!
Aside from the Mary Poppins birthday cake, of course! :D
Then we had a lovely party at the Monkey Mayhem softplay centre.
Friday was Halloween!
Trick or Treat!!!
And on Saturday we went to the Scream-con convention in North Tyneside followed by fish and chips at the fish quay. Sunday we got ready for back to school/nursery/playgroup, then enjoyed the fireworks at the seafront in our lovely home town of South Shields.
Can't wait to get back to normal tomorrow! I'm blinking exhausted!
